| There are more than 375 bridges and culverts throughout the unincorporated county where roads intersect streams and drainage ways. The Lucas County Engineers Office has an extensive inventory of the locations and conditions of these bridges and culverts. All bridges are inspected each year to make certain any problems are identified early. The Engineer’s Department can then schedule repairs or replacements as necessary to protect the traveling public.
