Tom Chema, from Gateway Consulting Group, presented the
“Ballpark Action Plan” to the Lucas County Commissioners. The plan details the
location, cost and reasoning of relocating the ballpark downtown.
Currently, Ned Skeldon Stadium is located at the
Lucas County Recreation Center on Key Street in Maumee. This plan calls for
constructing a new stadium in the Warehouse District between Monroe and
Washington Streets and Huron and St. Clair Streets.
